Jason King, DOMP, Osteopathic Manual Therapist

Born and raised in St. John’s, NL, Jason has always had a passion for health and wellness. It was his own struggles with health that has guided him to where he is today: Osteopathic Manual Practitioner and a Holistic Exercise and Health Practitioner. As an avid athlete and outdoor enthusiast all his life he was drawn to movement, rehabilitation and working to improve the health of himself and those around him.

Jason has been characterized as being compassionate, caring and empathetic with his treatments. Jason’s approach is holistic in nature; he believes everything has the capacity to affect everything! His practice is focused on working with the individual to help them find the root cause of their underlying symptoms and in doing so provide support for a more balanced life. He utilizes gentle structural and functional hands-on techniques and exercise prescription were necessary.

Jason works with all individuals but has a keen interest in working with:

  • Emotional trauma (i.e. PTSD, anxiety)
  • Physical Trauma
  • Pregnancy
  • Infants and children
  • Nervous System exhaustion (Fatigue, poor sleep, restlessness, etc)
  • Digestion (i.e., acid reflux, constipation, slow digestion, bloating, etc.)

At present, Jason and his partner, Kim, who is also an Osteopath Manual Practitioner, have returned to Ottawa to further their evolving careers.

When not at the clinic his other interests include fly fishing, cycling, cross country & downhill skiing and spending time with family and friends.
