Kelly D. Joseph, PHC NP

As a seasoned Primary Health Care Nurse Practitioner with over 27 years of family health experience, I have incorporated the need to combine home/work life balance.  My goal is to teach my clients the importance of obtaining this balance in order to achieve optimal health and wellness.

I have obtained my bachelors degree in Health Science through the University of Western Sydney Australia. After many years of working as an RN in various health care settings, I longed to have further input in my patients/ clients overall health care. This led me to further my education through Laurentian University, where I obtained my Nurse Practitioner Specialty Certificate from the College of Nurses of Ontario. This has allowed me to work in health care settings such as a locum clinician, various hospitals, community care clinics, Public Health as well as small indigenous outpost clinics in the Arctic communities.

Being a Nurse Practitioner has opened up a wide pathway for me to be able to have the opportunity to combine holistic health and western medicine, where the two worlds meet to achieve the best possible outcomes in primary, secondary and tertiary health and wellness.

I am also certified in medical aesthetics, neuromodulators and laser therapy.

My aspiration is to provide my clients with the best health care possible.  I believe my empathic and strong work ethic allows me to objectively and with compassion, listen to my clients overall needs, wants and desires.

On more of a personal note, I enjoy the outdoors, biking, hiking, travelling the world and taking on new challenges adventures. My personal philosophy is “if you give with all her heart and soul, it is only then, that we truly receive”.
