The initial 60-minute assessment is the time to review goals, medical history, blood work, current food intake, portion sizes, food preferences, restaurants/food courts frequented, supplement use, exercise habits and life stressors including coping mechanisms. Based on your assessment, Cathy will prepare a personalized Wellness Plan designed to help you achieve your personal diet and health goals.
Behaviour change takes time and commitment. That’s why Cathy is happy to offer follow-up visits as suited to your personal goals and life situations.

Follow-up visits are recommended weekly for the first half of the program and then once every two weeks afterwards. During your follow-ups, Cathy will review your food diary, discuss strategies to overcome upcoming obstacles/challenges, answer questions and help you set goals for the upcoming week. You’ll learn about reading nutrition labels, navigating restaurant menus, increasing fibre, supplementation and other topics related to your specific goals.
